Peter spent thirty years allocating capital and now wants to be more actively involved in building capital. This aligns with his interest in people, business and strategy and how they can be linked to maximise impact. Peter is an International Coaching Federation certified coach, an alumni of the INSEAD coaching course and a qualified enneagram practitioner. He is the Chair of The Baby Food Company and is on the board of Routed AM, a cloud hosting business. Peter is an Enneagram Five so loves to learn and to share his knowledge.

 

Peter’s thirty years in finance started in stockbroking, where he was the top rated strategist in South Africa. He also helped build Cazenove South Africa, as head of research and then head of equities. He then spent twenty years in fund management at Old Mutual Investment Group. Peter managed a wide variety of different funds and won the Raging Bull award for the best risk adjusted returns in the overall multi-asset category. He also founded and led the MacroSolutions boutique within OMIG, which was responsible for allocating hundreds of billions of rand of capital.
